After turning out a record-breaking number of hardworking Latino voters in 2020 to deliver a win for President Biden, Somos continued its pivotal work in 2022 by helping to defend the U.S. Senate in battleground states. Our mobilization and persuasion work led to the re-election of influential senators like Mark Kelly in Arizona and Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada.
Somos' efforts also helped secure major wins in key statewide races across the country, including Governor Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan and Secretary of State Francisco "Cisco" Aguilar in Nevada.
In 2023, Somos Votantes continued engaging hard working Latinos in Nevada and Arizona around new laws President Biden signed to make life more affordable for working people. And in Texas’ 15th Congressional District, launched Somos Pilares, a campaign to uplift the stories of hardworking Texans and their call for our leaders to support legislation that creates more opportunities for us to build a good life.
And in 2024, to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and ensure more hardworking Latinos participate in this year's Presidential election, we are running even larger programs. Join us in shaping the future of our democracy.
