KALAMAZOO, MI – Tomorrow, Somos Votantes, the organization behind the largest independent Latino engagement programs in the country and dedicated to empowering hardworking Latinos with tools and opportunities, is bringing essential services and resources to working families in Kalamazoo through a "Comunidad en Acción" (Community in Action) event. The initiative aims to provide economic relief, foster community connections during challenging economic times and provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about Somos Votantes.

Recognizing the financial pressures facing many working families, the event will offer free professional headshots, family portraits, haircuts, warm meals, and promotional items to attendees. These services are designed to provide tangible support to hardworking Michiganders struggling with the rising cost of living.

The event at El Concilio brings together six local service organizations committed to community wellbeing:
