Somos Votantes Launches $1.5 Million Spanish-language Ad Buy “Nuestro Futuro” Spotlighting Job Creation, Historic Clean Energy Investments, Lower Costs on Anniversary of Inflation Reduction Act
Washington, DC (August 19, 2024) - To commemorate the two-year anniversary of the Biden-Harris administration passing the Inflation Reduction Act, Somos Votantes, which runs some of the largest Latino civic and voter engagement programs in the country, launched a $1.5 million targeted ad buy titled “Nuestro Futuro” to air in Nevada and Arizona.
The 30-second Spanish-language broadcast ad spotlights the Biden-Harris administration’s accomplishments in delivering the Inflation Reduction Act and highlights Vice President Kamala Harris’ decisive tie-breaking vote that ensured the passage of this historic clean energy plan. The ad details how the landmark legislation created over 15,000 good-paying clean energy jobs in Arizona and over 25,000 in Nevada, lowered costs for working people, included historic investments in clean energy and calls on the administration to protect our clean energy plan.
